1. Who is responsible for your information?

The data controller is Jermeel Jno-Baptiste, trading as JJB Performance, based in London, United Kingdom.

2. Information collected

Depending on how you use the website, JJB Performance may collect:

• your name, email address, telephone number and general location;
• your coaching goals, experience, preferred service, timing and application answers;
• optional information you choose to provide about injuries, pregnancy or postpartum stage, symptoms or other health-related considerations;
• email subscription and engagement information, including which form you used and whether you opened or clicked an email;
• source, referral and campaign information included in a website link; and
• technical information routinely produced when the website is accessed, such as IP address, browser information and hosting logs.

The public calculators process their calculation inputs in your browser. JJB Performance does not intentionally receive those inputs through the email sign-up; the first name and email address you submit are sent to Kit.

3. How and why information is used

Information is used to:

• provide calculator results and requested educational material;
• manage email subscriptions and send relevant education, coaching information and offers;
• review coaching applications, respond to enquiries and decide whether coaching may be a suitable fit;
• prepare for and deliver coaching where you become a client;
• operate, secure and improve the website and services; and
• meet legal, tax, accounting and safeguarding obligations.

4. Lawful bases

JJB Performance relies on one or more of the following UK GDPR lawful bases:

• Consent for email marketing and for optional health-related information you choose to include in a coaching application. Health information is special-category data; where it is provided, the additional condition relied on is your explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a).
• Steps at your request before entering a contract and contract when responding to an application, arranging coaching or delivering an agreed service.
• Legitimate interests in operating a secure website, responding to general enquiries and managing the business, where those interests do not override your rights.
• Legal obligation where records must be kept or disclosed by law.

You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

5. Email communications

If you submit your details through a free tool or another email sign-up, JJB Performance will use them to deliver the requested material and send the follow-up emails described at the point of sign-up. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by emailing JJB Performance.

Unsubscribing stops marketing emails. A minimal suppression record may be kept so that your preference continues to be respected.

6. Service providers and sharing

Personal information is shared only where reasonably necessary. Current providers include:

• Netlify, which hosts the website and processes and stores coaching-form submissions;
• Kit (ConvertKit), which manages email subscriptions, forms, automations and email delivery; and
• Google Fonts, which supplies website typefaces and may receive routine connection information such as your IP address when a font is requested; and
• professional advisers, regulators or public authorities where required for legal, accounting, insurance or safeguarding reasons.

JJB Performance does not sell personal information.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

At the date of this notice, the website does not intentionally use advertising cookies or behavioural analytics. Hosting and form providers may use essential technologies and technical logs needed to provide, secure and protect their services. Kit may also record email opens and link clicks where its email-tracking features are enabled.

If non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are added later, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated before they are used.

8. International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, JJB Performance relies on the provider's applicable safeguards, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual protections, as required by data-protection law.

9. How long information is kept

• Unsuccessful or inactive coaching applications: normally up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, then deleted or anonymised unless there is a legal reason to retain them.
• Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe, consent is withdrawn or the list is cleaned because the information is no longer needed.
• Client, financial and contractual records: for the period needed to provide the service and meet legal, insurance, tax and accounting requirements, typically up to six years where applicable.
• Technical and security logs: according to the relevant provider's operational retention period.

Retention is reviewed periodically, and information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.

10. Security

Reasonable organisational and technical measures are used to protect personal information. No internet service is completely secure, so please do not submit medical records, test results or unnecessary sensitive information through the website.

11. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to request access, correction, erasure, restriction or transfer of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent at any time.

12. Automated decisions and children

Website calculator results are educational estimates generated from the inputs you provide. They do not make legally significant decisions about you and are not medical assessments. Coaching applications are reviewed by a person.

The website and coaching application are intended for adults aged 18 and over.

This notice may be updated when services, providers or legal requirements change. The latest version will always appear on this page with its revision date.
