The real problem

You do not need more discipline. You need a system that can read the signals.

You may already know how to train. The problem is that the plan stops making sense when energy drops, recovery changes, work becomes relentless, your cycle shifts, or your progress stalls.

Generic programmes treat every difficult week as a motivation problem. JJB coaching looks at the whole picture, then makes the smallest useful change instead of sending you back to zero.

  1. 01Training hard, feeling worseLow energy, persistent soreness, disrupted cycles or declining performance are information—not personal failure.
  2. 02Eating “well”, but not fuelling enoughYour intake can look healthy on paper and still fail to support your training, recovery and life.
  3. 03All-or-nothing adjustmentsEvery setback becomes a reason to add more, cut more, or abandon the plan completely.
  4. 04No explanation attachedYou have collected rules from apps and social media, but still cannot tell what your own body needs.
What we build

A body you can trust. A plan you can actually sustain.

The goal is not to make you dependent on coaching. It is to build strength, capacity and the judgement to make better decisions long after we finish.

01 · Fuel

Eat to support the work

Build a practical fuelling approach that supports performance, recovery and responsible body-composition goals without fear-based food rules.

02 · Train

Build measurable strength

Develop strength, power, mobility and cardiovascular capacity through programming that progresses with purpose.

03 · Adapt

Respond without overreacting

Use readiness, symptoms, workload and life-stage context to adjust intelligently—without rigid cycle schedules or weekly reinvention.

04 · Understand

Know why it works

Learn the mechanism, trade-off and goal behind every decision so your health and training stop feeling like a black box.

Inside the coaching

Individual enough to change when your life changes.

Full starting assessment

Your goals, training history, symptoms, movement needs, schedule, equipment and current recovery picture shape the plan from day one.

Tailored programming

Strength and performance work is built for your experience, environment and priorities, then rebuilt as you progress.

Weekly coaching review

We review what happened, what the data means and what needs changing—before a small problem becomes a lost month.

Fuelling and habit support

Practical nutrition coaching connects food to training demand, recovery, energy and your wider goals. No crash diets or moral labels.

Direct support

Ask questions, share training feedback and get help between formal reviews instead of waiting for the next programme block.

Your coaching app

Sessions, exercise guidance, progress tracking and feedback stay organised in one place, wherever you train.

The process

Assess. Build. Adapt. Never guess.

Short application

Tell me what you are trying to achieve, what you have already tried, what is getting in the way and why you are looking for support now.

Discovery call

If it looks like I can help, we have a focused conversation about your needs, the coaching relationship and whether the fit works both ways.

Assessment and baseline

We map training history, current capacity, recovery, lifestyle demands and relevant symptoms before deciding what “progress” should mean for you.

Your first training block

You receive a clear plan with the reasoning attached. We track the response, coach the execution and refine from evidence—not assumptions.

A selective fit

Serious coaching works best when the expectations match.

This is likely for you if…

  • You are active and ambitious, but your current approach is costing more energy than it returns.
  • You want strength, performance and body-composition goals handled together—not as competing projects.
  • You are navigating cycle changes, low energy availability, pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause or another health consideration.
  • You want education, honest feedback and a plan that can adapt to a demanding life.

This is probably not for you if…

  • You want a passive PDF with no check-ins, feedback or coaching relationship.
  • You are looking for an extreme short-term cut, punishment workouts or a guaranteed transformation date.
  • You want every decision made for you without learning how to make informed choices yourself.
  • You are not currently able to engage with the process or communicate honestly about what is and is not working.

Questions

Before you apply.

Do I need to be experienced in the gym?

No. The programme and level of coaching are built around your starting point. What matters is being willing to learn, communicate and practise consistently.

Do I have to track my menstrual cycle?

No. Cycle information can be useful when it is relevant and available, but the coaching does not force phase-based rules onto your training. We use your actual response, symptoms and context.

Can you coach around an injury or health condition?

Often, yes—within a coach’s professional scope. Your application helps identify what support is appropriate and whether input or clearance from a qualified healthcare professional is needed. Coaching does not replace medical care.

What equipment do I need?

That depends on the goal. A full gym offers the most options, but programming can be built around the equipment you can access consistently. We establish that before coaching begins.

What happens after I apply?

I review your answers personally. If the needs, timing and coaching model look aligned, you receive an invitation to a discovery call. The call is a two-way fit check, not an obligation to join.

The next step

Stop collecting more rules. Build a system that works for your body.

The application asks what you want to achieve, what you have tried and what kind of support you need. If the fit is right, the next step is a discovery call.
